About The Position
The Learning Experience – Gainesville is seeking a dependable Toddler Teacher to support our 2-year-old classroom. Our toddler program emphasizes consistent routines, positive guidance, and hands-on learning experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare or toddler classroom experience required
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and background requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily toddler classroom activities
- Implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support routines including meals, diapering or toileting, rest time, and transitions
- Encourage language development, peer interaction, and early problem-solving
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Communicate regularly with families regarding daily activities
- Follow all Virginia licensing and safety requirements
