About The Position
The Learning Experience in Elk Grove is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to guide children as they grow, explore, and develop independence. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys helping toddlers build confidence, social skills, and curiosity through play based learning.
Requirements
- Must meet California licensing requirements
- At minimum must hold twelve ECE units
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with toddlers or early childhood education preferred
- Patient, dependable, and attentive to safety and routines
- Passionate about early childhood development and nurturing care
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children ages one to three
- Support social, emotional, language, and motor development through play
- Follow daily classroom routines including meals, diapering or potty training, naps, and transitions
- Observe and document developmental milestones
- Communicate consistently with families to build strong relationships
- Implement The Learning Experience award winning L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Maintain a clean, organized, and joyful classroom
