About The Position

Join our vibrant team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville at our new Harrison Bridge location as a Toddler Teacher. In this exciting role, you will nurture and inspire young minds, creating a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged 1-3 years.

Requirements

• Minimum Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about nurturing and educating young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging young learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess children's development and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's growth and milestones.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the classroom and play areas.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Encourage social interaction and emotional development among toddlers.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
