About The Position
This is a short-term/temporary position under the general supervision of the Children's Center Director, supporting all activities related to the children's classroom environment at the Cuesta College Children's Center. The role involves supervising and guiding toddler or preschool children in developmentally appropriate social, emotional, physical, language, creative, and cognitive activities. Assistants should be able to communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents. The Childcare Assistant must demonstrate appropriate guidance practices and procedures, supporting and promoting student learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness by ensuring a quality program and services for children and their families while ensuring compliance with State licensing requirements.
