About The Position

About Us: All God's Children (AGC) is a nationally accredited, private, not-for-profit corporation that has been nurturing the spirit and building the character of children and families since 1999 (kyagc.org). AGC is looking for a part-time toddler room teacher during the hours of 7:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Approx. 25 to 30 hours a week.

Requirements

HS diploma or GED required
Must be 18 years of age
Have the ability to multi-task
Excellent communication and people skills
Must pass a criminal background check
Must work well with children and have the energy and flexibility to meet the changing needs of children.
Infant and child CPR/First Aid (will be provided by AGC upon employment)

Nice To Haves

Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience working with children
Prefer CDA certification

Responsibilities

Provide love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needs (infant-2 years of age)
Plan and execute indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
Interacting with children or infants both physically and verbally throughout the day
Clean and organize classroom
Must have a passion for working with babies and children!
