Toddler Class Mommy & Me Facilitator
About The Position
Hiring Lead Facilitator for Caregiver & Me visual art experiences in Santa Clara. This position engages with toddlers and their caregivers to encourage interaction, play, discovery, and new experiences with visual art materials and provocations. Each position is 2 hours a week. Contracts are March - May, 9:30am-11:30 am, with potential for continuation in Fall 2026 and opportunities on on Summer 2026 team. Who we are: A-Z Creativity LLC is an arts education organization that specializes in fostering intentional creativity in children through engagement and exploration in the visual arts. Our classes build confidence and inspire children by intentionally teaching material skills and creating an environment that allows for open-ended exploration and problem solving.
Requirements
- Be able to pass a background check & TB test
- Experience working with children
- Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand and walk for 2 hours, bend, kneel, sit, or crouch.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining material bins
- Transporting supplies to and from the site weekly. Supplies can be stored at your home/garage or in a nearby storage unit.
- Setting up and cleaning up the space on-site weekly.
- Communicating with caregivers & interacting with toddlers, encouraging interaction and exploration with the centers and materials.
