About The Position

Calhoun's Pellissippi is looking for a To-Go Host Specialist to join their location! Our "Smiling People Greeters." This individual has great communication skills and for all intents and purposes has never met a stranger. Our Team Member will oversee the layout of the restaurant and make sure tables are cleared and reset. They greet each Guest with a smile and a welcome, explain and direct our system of seating, and is also in charge of communicating volume levels to Management and Staff. As a To-Go Specialist, you will play a key role in providing exceptional hospitality to guests who order food to-go. You are the first and last point of contact for these guests, ensuring their orders are accurate, timely, and handled with genuine care.

Requirements

Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
Works well in a group and under some stress
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with to-go guests in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and by phone.
Accurately take orders over the phone and through the online ordering system.
Manage incoming to-go and curbside orders, ensuring they are entered and prepared correctly.
Package food and beverages with attention to presentation and quality standards.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
Deliver orders to guests at the counter and curbside with a warm, hospitable attitude.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the to-go area.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
