About The Position

Help patients rediscover hope and healing through innovative brain-based therapy as a TMS Technologist. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. The TMS Technologist partners closely with the TMS provider to deliver safe, effective Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for individuals on their mental health recovery journey. This role blends clinical skill with compassionate patient support—guiding individuals through each session, monitoring their response, and creating a calm, reassuring environment throughout care. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and minimum of two (2) years experience in a health care setting is required if a bachelor’s degree is not obtained
  • Training for conducting TMS visits completed (training will be provided)
  • BLS certification required
  • Bring a calm, reassuring presence and enjoy building trust with patients
  • Are attentive to detail and confident monitoring patient safety in a clinical setting
  • Have an interest in mental health and supporting individuals in their recovery journey
  • Thrive in a collaborative care environment and communicate effectively with providers
  • Are eager to learn new technologies and expand your clinical skillset

Nice To Haves

  • Any experience working in recovery environments or experience with ECT will be a bonus
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy will be advantageous, but not necessary

Responsibilities

  • Administer TMS treatments in collaboration with the TMS provider
  • Prepare and position TMS equipment, including coil placement
  • Support and guide patients through each session, addressing questions and promoting comfort
  • Monitor patient status during treatment and recovery, including vital signs
  • Observe and respond appropriately to patient needs, including recognizing seizure activity
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including rating scales and session notes
  • Participate in training and ongoing learning related to TMS procedures and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
