WHAT YOU'LL DO: TMO Equipment Technician Supervisor oversees a team of Equipment Technicians, ensuring timely and efficient completion of out-of-service mobility equipment by assigning work orders, providing technical support, monitoring performance, managing schedules, and conducting training, while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with customers, technicians, and management
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians with prior supervisory experience in a technical field.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the products and services offered by the company, including technical specifications and troubleshooting procedures. Including several years of experience as a field service technician in the relevant industry.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and weekly reports on fixed and out-of-service mobility equipment (scooters, strollers, wheelchairs).
  • Submit work orders for parts and supplies.
  • Monitor parts inventory and ensure timely ordering of necessary components.
  • Assign work orders to technicians based on skillset and availability.
  • Monitor technician performance through metrics like completion rates, response times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to technicians to improve performance.
  • Provide technical assistance to technicians on complex troubleshooting issues.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address performance issues.
  • Manage technician schedules and overtime.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing technicians on product knowledge, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Analyze service data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage service costs and budget.
