As part of Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s (TMCF) commitment to Historically Black Community Colleges (HBCCs) and in response to evolving trends within industry and the workforce, TMCF recognizes the opportunity to drive economic mobility through alternative educational and career pathways. This program is intended for early career talent and aims to remove barriers to meaningful employment. The Workforce Development Summit is designed to serve as a forum to bring together workforce talent from our HBCCs and community participants to deepen partnerships with various companies looking for work-ready talent. During the four-day Workforce Summit students will engage directly with a variety of industry partners, gaining insight into the evolving “world of work” and the skills needed to thrive, grow, and lead in today’s job market.
