About The Position

The TM Receiver at Tractor Supply Company is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely receiving and shipping of freight, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves interacting with customers and team members, supporting sales initiatives, and promoting a safe and productive work environment while adhering to company safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer skills/experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending product solutions, and appreciating their business.
• Process inbound and outbound freight accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and adhere to loss prevention standards.
• Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight processes.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Maintain, recover, stock, and tag assigned work areas, including outdoor merchandise displays.
• Operate cash register/computer following established cash handling procedures.
• Ensure customers have a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
• Rotate and dispose of dated products.
• Assemble merchandise as needed.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler safely.
• Sanitize and maintain poultry holding tanks and care for birds as required.
• Complete all documentation associated with job duties.
