About The Position

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION The primary responsibility of the TLC Lead is to mentor departmental employees and provide constructive feedback and training to improve their performance as well as ensure that production and quality standards are achieved.

Requirements

  • Computer literate, including ability to enter data using a keyboard.
  • Demonstrated aptitude towards high standards for quality and performance.
  • Capable of working in a fast pace environment and still set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate easily with all levels of the organization as well as cross-functionally.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Respect core values of Asurion and comply with the Company's policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • High School Diploma/GED

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift/Reach Truck, Order Picker Experience (In Applicable Departments).
  • 1 year of Team Building/Coaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Tutor new and existing employees to increase their performance to meet or exceed production and quality output.
  • Direct daily activities of the department’s employees to complete daily workload and other tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Train and cross-train employees with existing and new procedures as they are implemented.
  • Develop and implement all necessary job aids or reading materials.
  • Conduct skills training and provide comments and progress reports to the Supervisor.
  • Coach employees to insure their productivity meets or exceeds accepted requirements.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the department’s processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Promote Asurion Core Values and coach the employees’ adherence to those values.
  • Empower and challenge others to their highest level of potential.
  • Understand the impact of changes on your department and effectively lead your direct reports through the changes.
  • Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries.
  • Develop direct reports such that a percentage are capable of taking on new positions within Asurion at given time.
  • Build and maintain an environment grounded in trust and fairness.
  • Exercise good judgment in pro-actively determining solutions to new and on-going problems/issues.
  • Audit new and existing employees to assure training is completed accurately and all employees are following the work instructions provided.
  • Monitor the production area and move manpower as needed throughout all areas of the department in order to meet or exceed daily productivity requirements.
  • Investigate all problem orders that may result in a delay of shipment and resolve, through the use of DAX, available inventory or other areas of the TLC to meet customer demand (In Applicable Departments).
  • Other duties as assigned.
