TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors - Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the programs and initiatives of the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors. They will work closely with the Executive Director and program team to plan, implement, and coordinate various activities aimed at providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals affected by body-focused repetitive behaviors. This role is crucial in ensuring the success and impact of the foundation's programs and initiatives.

Assist in planning, implementing, and coordinating various programs and activities aimed at providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals affected by body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs)

Support the programs and initiatives of the TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors

Work closely with the Executive Director and the program team

Conduct health education programming for the BFRB community

Provide expert level guidance and connection to the BFRB community

Conduct the BFRB Community Health Needs Assessment & Impact Survey

Share data gathered from the CHNA survey with public policy makers, public health leaders, doctors, clinicians, educators, and more

Support the Virtual Professional Training Institute (VPTI) by providing comprehensive CBT-based training for medical and therapeutic providers

Contribute to pioneering research through the Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors Precision Medicine Initiative (BPM)

Assist in analyzing genetics data and generating greater understanding about the underlying biology of BFRBs

Assist in securing NIMH-funded grants to further the study of BFRBs and BFRB treatments

• Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of programs and initiatives offered by the organization
• Provide logistical support for the TLC Annual Conference, Trainings and Webinars, Certification Course Sessions, and other events
• Collaborate with the program team to develop program materials, resources, and educational content
• Assist in maintaining program databases, participant records, and program evaluation data
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and files related to program activities
• Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and coordination of clinical instructors
• Provide guidance and support to facilitators engaged in program activities
• Support communication efforts by assisting in social media management, website updates, and email communications
• Assist in coordinating and scheduling meetings, conferences, and other program-related events
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
• Knowledge of body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) and related issues is a plus

• Compensation: $28-$31/hr (estimated 25-25 hrs a week)
