Responsibilities

• Following lesson plans
• Taking attendance
• Delivering upbeat and interactive instruction
• Administering quizzes, class exercises and activities
• Facilitating students' understanding of the content taught in class
• Staying updated with current events in NYC and Taxi and Limousine Rules and Regulations

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• In-class instruction experience preferred
• TLC experience is helpful but not required
• Have at least 1 year of regular driving experience and 1 year of TLC driving experience preferred
• Possess the ability to develop relationships with students to build a positive and productive learning environment
• Have a passion for teaching and possess a patient and caring personality
• Understand the needs of students

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu, Korean, Russian a plus
