About The Position
Transitional Kindergarten Instructional Assistant View Job Description The job of Instructional Assistant was established for the purpose(s) of providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, instruction of students in the classroom; assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time; providing information to appropriate school personnel; assisting students in completing classroom assignments and computer applications.
Requirements
- Paraprofessionals whose duties include instructional support must have: High school diploma or the equivalent, and (a) Two years of college (48 units), OR (b) A. A. degree (or higher), OR (c) Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
