The position involves developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive school counseling and guidance program that addresses academic, career, personal, and social development. The individual will advocate for the high academic achievement and social development of all students, providing schoolwide prevention and intervention strategies and counseling services. Additionally, the role includes providing consultation, training, and staff development to teachers and parents regarding students' needs, as well as supervising a district-approved advisory program as described in California Education Code, Section 49600.
