About The Position
Fort Ross School is located in the beautiful redwoods on the north coast of Sonoma County an hour from Santa Rosa. It is a small, rural, two-classroom school for grades TK-8 with a current enrollment of 20. We are seeking a resourceful, innovative, collaborative, and loving primary or upper grade teacher. Instructional staff at the school include a primary grade TK-4 and upper grade 5-8 teacher and part-time superintendent/principal. Support staff include instructional aides, office staff, after school program coordinator, math intervention teacher, reading specialist, music specialist, and art specialist. The school and surrounding community highly value art, enrichment, environmental stewardship, professional development, and networking with neighboring schools.
