Requirements

• Experience supervising or providing rehabilitation/treatment services to youth or adults in a treatment program, correctional program, or residential setting is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.

Nice To Haves

• College degree or coursework in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in a correctional or juvenile detention setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for youth in a halfway house facility.
• Ensure the safety and security of youth, staff, and the public.
• Facilitate youth rehabilitation and personal development according to individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a consistent effort to ensure safe environments and employ security measures.
• Engage with youth to help them manage reactions to stress and trauma.
• Monitor compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Complete required documentation and maintain records accurately.
• Conduct searches for contraband and health/safety hazards.
• Manage movements between activities and conduct periodic headcounts.
• Provide input into each youth's treatment plan as part of the Youth Service Team.
