Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direct care for youth in a residential correctional facility.
• Help youth identify and manage reactions to stress and trauma.
• Use appropriate intervention methods to address behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe environment and employ security measures when necessary.
• Engage with youth to promote healthy relationships and recognize positive behavior.
• Facilitate youth rehabilitation in accordance with individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in the Youth Service Team and contribute to treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor youth activities and programs to ensure engagement.
• Conduct searches for contraband and health/safety hazards.
• Complete and maintain required records and documentation.
