About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for cleaning restrooms, buildings, office areas, playground equipment, event spaces, as well as other outdoor spaces, furniture and equipment. This is a part-time position with up to 29 hours per week. Primary hours will be evenings and weekends. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete a variety of cleaning tasks both inside and outside. Indoor areas include TitletownTech, Fit building and Ariens Hill. Outdoor areas include Hy-Vee Plaza, Ariens Hill, Shopko Optical Playground and Titletown Square. Remove trash from public areas and properly dispose of trash and recycling. Properly handle and use cleaning products and chemicals.Perform general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning restrooms, wiping solid surfaces, dusting, sweeping, mopping, replenishing soap and paper products, etc. Maintain clean, orderly storage rooms and stock supplies appropriately. Respond to housekeeping calls and requests in a timely and efficient manner.Occasionally assist with setup of tables, chairs, tents, etc. for programs + events Provide world-class service levels by maintaining a safe, inviting, and pleasant atmosphere. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a solid work ethic, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.
• Possess resourcefulness, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, and lift on a frequent basis.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to extreme outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to push and/or pull heavy objects.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and lift, for extended periods of time.
• Operates in a professional environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous employment experience in event setup or housekeeping preferred.
