About the position

The Titles Processor is responsible for working collaboratively within a team environment to ensure that auto loan title processing is accurate, compliant, efficient, effective, and performed within established policies and procedures. The Titles Processor will verify and audit loan documents and title documents for accuracy, prepare documents to be submitted to state motor vehicle agencies, provide consistent and timely follow up to customers and business partners, make outbound calls and take inbound calls, and perform other titles processing related duties. Our ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, goal driven environment, be willing to multitask and perform multiple departmental functions, have strong communication skills, and be poised and professional at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and audit loan and title documents for accuracy.
  • Prepare title and loan documents to be submitted to state motor vehicle agencies.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and meet service level agreements.
  • Prepare documents to be returned to customers.
  • Communicate with state motor vehicle agencies on various title resolution issues.
  • Follow up with lenders for title releases.
  • Provide follow-up and resolution for active escalation accounts.
  • Communicate effectively and build successful working relationships with teammates, business partners and other employees.
  • Update customer files and records accurately.
  • File paper titles, scan documents and perform other administrative duties, as needed.
  • Update internal processes to align with state titling and form changes.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Responsible for mitigating fraud.
  • Responsible for notarizing DMV Documentation.
  • Communicate with dealerships to collect outstanding titles and resolve title issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with automobile titles processing preferred.
  • Fast learner that can comprehend, retain, and implement required policies and procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Must exude exceptional customer service.
  • Strong critical thinking skills that will be used to generate resolutions for escalated accounts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and effective listening skills.
  • Must be comfortable talking on the phone with customers, peers, and business partners.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work overtime hours and Saturdays, as needed.
  • Licensed Notary Public Preferred.
