About The Position

The Title Specialist is responsible for receiving and filing new titles, pulling filed titles, reassigning, lien releasing, and mailing requested titles. The Title Specialist will process special circumstantial state titles, handle DMV relations, process title ticketing for outside vendors, title corrections, VITU, and work with the Title Exception team for in-research and duplicate title requests. The Title Specialist must be Proficient in all title processes and hold or exceed SLA requirements for industry standard and management projection. This role has an impact on financial performance, fleet procurement, payables, planning, operations, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Title experience required.
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple applications and scanning systems.
  • Must be comfortable standing or sitting for long periods.
  • Must have legible handwriting skills to sign documents efficiently and correctly for extended periods.
  • Detail-oriented; must be very accurate and able to pay attention to details.
  • Must be an independent worker and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of company personnel and vendors.
  • Team player.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and Teams
  • Availability to work specialty hours during peak season.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible as a backup for Title Processors in day-to-day operation of Title Center as needed.
  • Proficient or Expert in all Title Center Operations.
  • Must meet or exceed Title Center KPI’s
  • Documenting research and updates in necessary systems.
  • Responsible for responding and acting on Ticketing System and WSTitle requests daily.
  • Responsible for pulling, processing, and shipping titles with state specific lien release requirements.
  • Responsible for communication with DMV for title related issues.
  • Responsible for processing and shipping out Title Corrections utilizing EAM.
  • Responsible for working and assisting Title Exceptions team with in-research, VITU, and duplicate title requests.
  • Assist with answering questions from team on processes.
  • Assist Title Team Lead with training.
  • Maintains a ‘Best practice sharing culture’, always striving to find ways to improve service.
  • Additional Tasks assigned by Leadership as needed.
