Your Purpose as a Title Clerk: Prepare all new and used motor vehicle title paperwork for the state in which they will be titled Submit legal title transfer work to the WI Department of Motor Vehicles using the online system through DLRdmv.com Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications Follow up with various lenders on the title status of recently paid off vehicles/trade ins Verify the accuracy of all paperwork and ensure that all information is complete Mains an out of state title list, processes out of state inspections and flips trade in titles to the dealer’s name Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles Stays abreast of title regulations. Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations Conducts periodic training sessions for dealership personnel regarding title regulations and procedures Mains a professional appearance and a neat work area Other duties as assigned by Management
