Reporting to the Vice President of Equity and Inclusion & Equal Opportunity and Compliance Officer, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Title IX and related compliance. The Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) serves as a vital campus partner in advancing SUNY Oneonta's commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Working collaboratively with the Center for Racial Justice and Inclusive Excellence (CRJIE), the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC), and university partners across Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Human Resources, the office promotes an environment where every individual can learn, grow, and thrive. This role involves conducting thorough investigations of sexual misconduct and discrimination cases, coordinating supportive measures, and ensuring fair and timely adjudication processes. The coordinator develops and delivers campus-wide training programs, manages a comprehensive case system, and collaborates with key departments to maintain effective and inclusive Title IX procedures. Additionally, the role includes strategic planning, climate survey analysis, and continuous evaluation of programs to promote a safe, equitable, and culturally sensitive campus environment.
