About The Position
The Title IX & Compliance Coordinator (Coordinator) works closely with the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs (AVPAA), Dean of Human Resources, Director of Athletics, and legal counsel to oversee the College's compliance efforts with regard to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as well as other laws (e.g., state mandates related to student pregnancy and parenting and drugs and alcohol use) and rules relating to sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual assault and related policy violations on campus (e.g., Violence Against Women's Act (VAWA), Title VI, and Title VII). The Coordinator fosters a safe and supportive environment that is conducive to a respectful academic, working, and living environment.
