About The Position

The Tutor will assist the elementary campus through identification and implementation of research based lessons and interventions in all grade levels as assigned. They will assist teachers with differentiation of instruction to engage all learners. Participate in small group instruction in the classrooms and assist the campus as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Knowledge of TEKS curriculum PK-6.
• Possesses fluency with multiple methods of instructional delivery.
• Knowledge of current educational research when working with Special Populations.
• Ability to mentor and monitor student performance.
• Ability to interpret data.
• Ability to work in a team with leadership skills to create support systems for differentiation in the classroom and high probability instructional strategies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• One year student teaching or approved internship.
