Title I Supplemental Instructors -John Marshall Elementary School- Internal Only
About The Position
Identified students will be invited to receive supplemental instruction before or after school in a small group setting in Math and Literacy during the 2025-2026 school year. The purpose of the supplemental instruction is to provide students who have not achieved Math and/or Literacy proficiency with small group instruction to target and support their academic growth. Parents will be notified and sign off on an agreement allowing their students to receive small group instruction. Supplemental teachers will attend training/professional development/collegial meetings for a maximum of 4 hours between December 2025 - May 2026 at a rate of $30 per hour. Teachers will provide up to 8 sessions per month per supplemental group. Time Frame for Instruction: January 2026 - June 2026
Requirements
- Applicants must consent to undergoing a background check as required by the state of New Jersey.
- Applicants must consent to undergoing a tuberculosis (TB) check if selected for employment.
