Support the instructional development of teachers as it relates to Tier I instruction, student engagement, classroom management, data review and use, and lesson plans. Ensure understanding and implementation of the school’s Instructional Focus. Facilitate walkthroughs to determine the internal capacity of the school and identify priority areas to address. Informally observe (non-evaluative) lessons and follow a proven coaching model in order to provide feedback, monitor progress, and provide needed professional development. Model use of cooperative learning structures to ensure positive interdependence, individual accountability, equal participation and simultaneous interaction. Maintain required documentation related to coaching, professional development, etc. This position requires a panel interview. This is a grant funded position and is dependent on available funds.
