About The Position

MV Transportation is Now Hiring Full Time Drivers with Full Benefits. Here at MV we provide the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority (MMVTA) fixed route bus service locally in the Middle Monongahela River Valley and commuter service to Downtown Pittsburgh - 7 days a week. When you join the MV team you will work out of the MMVTA Donora Bus Operations Facility operating a mix of 30 to 40 foot low floor buses and commuter coaches. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle, providing reliable and efficient public transportation. You will be cross trained on all routes.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must have at least a Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement and Passenger Endorsement.
• Must be able to operate all vehicles in the fleet.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to learn and deliver service on all MMVTA routes.
• Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Benefits

• Start rate $24 per hour after training.
• Pay increases automatically to $24.92 per hour on July 1.
• Yearly increases each July with years of service increases available after year 1.
