About The Position

We are an established multi-state law firm headquartered in Temecula, CA, providing legal services to mortgage servicers in the areas of foreclosures and bankruptcies. We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Title Curative Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of title curative experience, excellent written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and heavy attention to detail. As a Title Curative Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving title curative matters according to underwriting and/or internal guidelines. This role requires knowledge of various established title curative methods and the ability to read and apply these methods effectively. You will be tasked with setting up title curative matters within the firm's tracking system and updating clients in various databases. You will also track and maintain the workload of all title curative matters through physical files or the firm's tracking system. Your responsibilities will include ordering and reviewing all documentation associated with title cures, such as Title Policies, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, Trustee's Sale Guarantees, Deeds of Trust, payoffs, and Mortgage Notes. You will draft and review reconveyance and/or release of liens, conduct research to obtain contacts or information related to title curative matters, and interact with the firm's attorneys to gather necessary information to resolve these matters. Proactively anticipating curative requirements and potential title issues will be key to your success in this role. Other related duties may be assigned by management as needed.
