About The Position

The Title Curative Specialist at Ardán, Inc. is responsible for evaluating title searches and resolving title issues based on underwriting standards and guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of title insurance and the ability to provide exceptional service to clients while managing complex title matters. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the title industry and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of curative experience in the title industry, with national or regional experience preferred.
  • Experience in commercial and purchase transactions preferred.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned risk decisions.
  • Experience utilizing ResWare or similar title software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate title searches and resolve title issues and discrepancies based on underwriting standards and guidelines.
  • Determine solutions for clearing title issues and act on these determinations to resolve identified issues.
  • Perform complex functions such as obtaining releases for prior liens and reviewing legal documents.
  • Coordinate with state and regional underwriting counsel to resolve title curative matters.
  • Order and follow up on necessary clearance documentation.
  • Communicate with lienholders or attorneys regarding various property liens.
  • Provide estimated title curative resolution dates to clients and manage tracking reports as required.
  • Facilitate review and corrections of documents and deliver completed documents to clients.
  • Prioritize daily work to meet client service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
