About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Title Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for processing and managing vehicle titles. This role ensures accurate and timely handling of all paperwork related to vehicle sales and transfers while maintaining organized records and delivering excellent internal and external customer service. Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and submitting vehicle title and registration documents to CVR and VRT50, verifying the accuracy of documents, and ensuring proper completion of all required forms. The Title Clerk works closely with sales, lenders and customers to resolve title discrepancies. Other responsibilities include reporting new vehicles sold through FMC Dealer, paying off and flooring vehicles through dealer finance, stocking in new and used vehicles, paying off traded in vehicles, assisting with accounts receivable, and answering phones and cashing out customers when needed. In addition, this position supports accounting and administrative functions related to vehicle sales, including processing payments for title and registration fees, reconciling schedules, and maintaining organized filing systems. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously are essential to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of proven Title Clerk experience
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Experience with CVR and VRT50 is preferred
  • Previous Ford experience is a plus!
  • Ability to stay busy in down times
