The position involves checking, processing, recording, balancing, and maintaining various records of financial transactions related to car dealerships and vehicle ownership. The employee will review, verify, and record required information and supporting documents for each transaction, prepare and set up files, organize documents, and file information in designated order. Responsibilities include sealing titles and memos, retrieving and replacing files, and preparing documentation for scanning. The employee will also review electronic title applications (ETA) for errors, cash out ETA's, input checks and cash, ensure that checks are signed, and maintain necessary accounting records to support processed transactions. Additionally, the role involves reconciling records, verifying accounting entries for accuracy, processing and entering numerical or financial data, and canceling liens. The employee will type, enter, proofread, and process a variety of documents and data, enter information into department databases, verify information for accuracy and completeness, and respond to questions regarding the area of assignment. The position also includes processing and logging incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and delivering mail, and maintaining related documentation.
