About The Position

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Title and Billing Clerk to join our team in Milan, MI. The Title and Billing Clerk is responsible for managing vehicle documentation related to taxes, titles, registrations, license plates, and other legal documents tied to vehicle sales or ownership. Additional duties include inventory tracking, record keeping, reporting, and processing dealer trade paperwork. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • CVR certification required
  • Previous experience in automotive dealership title processing and with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS preferred
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Helpful attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with computers and Internet, including Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle documentation including titles, taxes, registrations, and license plates
  • Assist with vehicle inventory control and maintain accurate records
  • Handle contractual documentation with financial institutions
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports and reconcile schedules on a weekly basis
  • Communicate effectively with dealership personnel to build strong working relationships
  • Process title work with CVR or DMV promptly
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, local, and company policies and safety regulations
  • Process dealer trade worksheets for transferring vehicles between dealers or related parties
  • Handle warranty payments and cancellations for traded or sold vehicles
  • Process wholesale paperwork and titles as required
  • Provide administrative support as needed
