About The Position

Shamim Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Title-24 Energy Analyst and Energy Modeler to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality energy modeling services to our diverse portfolio of residential, multifamily, and nonresidential projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm, with recent experience in completing Title-24 Energy Models.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Energy Pro.
• Strong understanding of Architecture, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems.

Nice To Haves

• LEED Certification is a plus.
• CEA or CEPE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare Title-24 Reports and Energy Models.
• Utilize Energy Pro to create effective energy models.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting client expectations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and an understanding of Architecture, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on all projects.
• Evaluate Value Engineering opportunities while assessing associated risks.
• Manage projects within established budgets and timelines.
• Oversee work plans and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
