About The Position
The position is for a Tutor within the Haverhill Public Schools, responsible for providing small group instruction to students. The Tutor will participate in co-planning sessions and collaborate with other support specialists to collect and disseminate student assessment information. The role involves diagnosing student weaknesses and developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) Goals. The Tutor will also be responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Curriculum Supervisors and directives from the Superintendent of Schools or their designee, in accordance with the policies of the Haverhill School Committee. Tutoring sessions will be conducted for 1 hour, scheduled before and after school, with planning time provided for staff.
