Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of childcare experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom of 20-25 students effectively.
• Understanding of behavior management and effective disciplinary techniques.
• Highly organized with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and maintain a fun atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in classroom management and tutoring.
• Knowledge of educational enrichment programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of up to 25 students during after-school hours.
• Provide tutoring and homework assistance to students.
• Implement educational enrichment activities and positive youth development strategies.
• Communicate regularly with the Site Coordinator regarding program aspects.
• Attend all weekly staff meetings and collaborate with staff members.
• Collect attendance documents and other necessary paperwork at the end of programming.
• Create and implement engaging educational curriculum monthly upon supervisor approval.
• Track students' progress using programmatic protocols.
• Manage service learners, interns, and volunteers at the site.
• Ensure compliance with all Titans After School Program rules and procedures.
