As a Tissue Recovery Surgical Technician, you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll be responsible for preparation, maintenance and restoration of the surgical environment through completion of the recovery case. Responsible for anticipating the needs of the team to maintain progression of the surgical processes. The Surgical Technician functions as the non-sterile team member managing supplies, fields, pace, timelines, ensuring a complete and accurate recovery record is concurrently created and finalized by the end of the case. This role may also be trained to perform the back table processes during the recovery, to include performing the aseptic packaging and maintenance of recovered tissues and samples. Your work will have purpose every single day, contributing directly to life-changing outcomes. Important: This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles, and caps.
