DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Tissue Recovery Coordinator. The Tissue Recovery Coordinator (TRC) is responsible for the coordination and recovery of bone, skin, and cardiovascular tissue. The TRC works with the Tissue Referral Specialist to identify potential tissue donors. You will maintain a thorough knowledge of human anatomy, demonstrate excellent aseptic and tissue recovery techniques, and maintain a low surgical error rate. Additionally, the TRC will assist with other components of the tissue recovery process, such as documentation, reviewing medical information, working with supply coordinators, and obtaining needs reports from contract sterilizers and the Office of the Medical Examiner. Finally, you will maintain an understanding of all DonorConnect, and other agencies, policies and may assist with the training of new Tissue Recovery Technicians.
