About The Position
Come join the Clinical Support team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities. Position Purpose: The Surgical Service Line Tissue and Preference Card Coordinator works closely with staff, surgeons and other departments to ensure a process for tissue management and doctor preference card (DPC) management and improvement.
Requirements
- Education: High School Graduate; Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Experience: As associated with surgical technologist program. Minimum three years experience in Specialty area preferred.
- Licensure: Certified Surgical Technologist required.
- BLS required
Responsibilities
- Supporting the identification and design of initiatives to improve and strengthen the performance of the process in relation to tissue services and to ensure practices are in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Required to scrub in rooms as needed based on volume and staffing.
