About The Position

Morris, Inc. is seeking a driven individual to assume responsibility of the upkeep of the Tire Shop by performing the duties including, but not limited to, those listed below.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Class A CDL is preferred, but not required
• Capable of performing manual labor and lifting up to 75 lbs
• Basic set of tools with the ability to acquire the correct tools for the job

Nice To Haves

• Prior knowledge of tire related equipment and tools a plus

Responsibilities

• Light mechanic work on trucks and trailers
• Fix flat tires and insure all tires are road-worthy on all vehicles.
• Work on various types of machinery and vehicle tires.
• Properly dismount and remount tires onto wheels
• Tire service work to be completed in the shop or in the field
• Pinpoint trouble areas by observing tire wear patterns.
• Keep tire shop and maintenance shop clean as needed.
• Assist in wash bay duties, as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining the yard and parking area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
