As a Tire Technician, you are responsible for safely and efficiently performing all tire-related services on customer and dealership vehicles. You are expected to follow dealership procedures, prioritize safety, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior tire or automotive service experience preferred (training available for entry-level candidates)
  • Valid California drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned duties
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Follow direction and complete tasks efficiently with attention to detail
  • Comply with all company policies, including safety and conduct standards
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and manual labor
  • Exposure to noise, vibration, and vehicle fumes in a shop environment

Responsibilities

  • Properly mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires using appropriate equipment
  • Inspect tires for wear, punctures, and other damage; report findings to management or advisors
  • Accurately document services performed on repair orders
  • Maintain tire inventory in an organized and accessible manner
  • Ensure tire equipment is used correctly and kept in good working condition
  • Follow all safety procedures when lifting vehicles and handling tools/equipment
  • Assist technicians or service advisors when needed in relation to tire concerns
  • Keep your work area clean and free of hazards
  • Report any incidents, safety concerns, or equipment issues immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
