Our solution-based offers are customized around the needs of each customer, with a commitment to making mining mobility safe, profitable, and efficient. GCR operates 9 Stores, 2 Bandag Retread Plants, and 5 Off-The-Road Tire Repair Facilities in 5 states, along with managing tire programs at several remote mine locations. In short, GCR operates anywhere mining equipment is operated. Job Category Retail Position Summary Perform a variety of tire services, repairs, and fleet inspections on customer vehicles of all sizes. This role requires strong technical skills, physical stamina, and excellent customer service. Pay Range: $17.50 - $35.00 Commission Eligible Commission Eligible. Bridgestone reserves the right to modify, change or eliminate the entire program or any part of it at any time.
Requirements
- Experience with automotive and commercial tires.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 250 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical labor.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair for both automotive and commercial vehicles.
- Conduct fleet inspections at customer locations, identifying and reporting maintenance needs.
- Provide roadside tire service, including emergency repairs.
- Safely operate company vehicles to travel to customer locations.
- Assist with customer service at store locations when needed.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized mobile service vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
