About The Position

The Tire Sales and Installation Team Member is responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, completing necessary tire bay documentation, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures. Team members are expected to carry out job functions as assigned, support club policies and compliance, act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively, achieve goals, move with speed and agility, innovate, adapt, and maintain a friendly and positive attitude. They are also expected to deliver service excellence, resolve member concerns, and commit daily to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate, Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean Club Standards) and understand departmental performance reporting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in the selection and purchase of tires, including verifying sizes for vehicles.
• Properly install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Repair tires.
• Complete necessary tire bay documentation for sales and service orders.
• Maintain tire bay policies and procedures.
• Properly dispose of tires.
• Ensure propane tanks are filled per club policy, if certified per DOT requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area.
• Merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
• Ensure knowledgeable service is provided to members at the tire desk.
• Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory.
• Understand and appropriately utilize available special-order tire programs.
• Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilize tire bay equipment.
• Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
• Act with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.

• Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including a Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, and a clean and organized club.
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department.
• See the connection between consistent execution and the positive impact it can have on the business.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
