About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire & Lube Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is critical to keeping our fleet of concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and company vehicles in safe, working conditions. The Tire & Lube Technician will perform preventive maintenance, tire service, and minor repairs to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support daily operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
  • Prior experience in tire service, lube service, or fleet maintenance (heavy truck/equipment preferred).
  • Knowledge of basic truck/equipment systems and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tire equipment safely.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in outdoor/garage conditions.
  • Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lubrication services on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment (oil changes, grease, filters, fluids).
  • Inspect and replace tires on concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other fleet vehicles, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and report mechanical or safety issues.
  • Check and maintain fluid levels (engine oil, hydraulic, coolant, transmission, etc.).
  • Assist with minor repairs such as belts, hoses, lights, and battery service.
  • Document work performed, parts used, and service intervals in maintenance logs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Support the fleet maintenance team with additional duties as assigned.
