As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, aiming to deliver value to members. This role involves working collaboratively with other associates to meet member expectations. Key aspects include being a team member by collaborating and mentoring, being an expert in safety, compliance, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, and sales techniques. You will also act as a 'techie' by leveraging digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve service, and make business decisions. As an 'owner', you will manage equipment needs, track orders, operate cash registers, maintain inventory, audit safety standards, report issues, complete documentation, and ensure proper merchandise handling. Furthermore, you will be a 'talent ambassador' by advocating for the brand, modeling high-quality service, developing and inspiring others, and assisting in training. The position requires compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and a commitment to completing work assignments, collaborating with stakeholders, and adapting to change.
