The Tire and Battery Service Advisor maintains safety and operational standards within the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) and sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly organized, stocked, and displayed. Key responsibilities include monitoring tire and battery orders, scheduling and managing installation appointments, and communicating any changes or alternative solutions to members. The advisor is expected to provide expert member service, offering recommendations for tire and battery products based on product knowledge and Sam’s Garage resources, explaining warranties, and ensuring members receive optimal service and value. This role drives sales and service excellence by promoting TBC offerings and efficiently managing service workflow in the TBC bays through prioritization and recommendations to the TBC Team Lead or Technicians. The position requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, industry guidelines, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and Point-of-Sale systems. The advisor will utilize digital tools and handheld devices to enhance operations, improve service experiences, and support team member training. Additionally, the role involves completing vehicle service requests, operating TBC equipment safely, handling merchandise, maintaining documentation, and processing member transactions. The advisor is expected to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, adhere to company policies, and contribute to a culture of integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
