As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead, you will drive member service in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in the Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. This role involves supervising the team to deliver on the business plan, communicating department goals, setting guidelines, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and advocating for members, associates, and the company. You will maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, safety, compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality, ensuring the team performs daily processes consistently. The position requires sharing knowledge, training the team, and ensuring they are equipped with knowledge of new products and technologies. You will leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve service, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions. As an owner, you will drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain a clean and safe work area, plan proactively, order supplies, track returns and special orders, assist in staffing and scheduling, operate cash registers, process transactions, and provide hands-on support. You will also maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance, complete paperwork, and model a commitment to member service. As a Talent Ambassador, you will train and teach the team, monitor e-learning completion, identify potential in others, develop necessary skill sets, encourage career growth, and source new talent. You will develop, communicate, and implement processes, promote compliance with company policies, and lead/participate in teams, while embracing diversity, building relationships, and acting with integrity to support Walmart's values and goal of becoming a regenerative company.
