About The Position

The Time Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely management of employee timekeeping and labor data across multiple construction projects. This role works closely with field supervision, project management, and payroll to ensure labor hours are properly recorded, coded, and reported in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in timekeeping, payroll support, or administrative roles (construction industry preferred)
  • Familiarity with timekeeping or payroll systems (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, HeavyJob, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of job costing, labor tracking, and basic payroll processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Construction Industry experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process daily and weekly time entries for field employees and crews
  • Ensure all time is accurately coded to the appropriate job, phase, and cost codes
  • Monitor time entry submissions and follow up with supervisors to ensure deadlines are met
  • Review and approve time entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Investigate and resolve time discrepancies in collaboration with field teams and project managers
  • Maintain and update employee rosters, job assignments, and system access within timekeeping software
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly labor reports, including Labor Distribution
  • Perform audits of timekeeping data to identify errors, trends, and compliance risks
  • Train employees and supervisors on timekeeping systems, policies, and procedures
  • Support continuous improvement of timekeeping processes and systems
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
