Your Opportunity, Your Team Under the general supervision of the area manager, a variety of products are progressed in accordance with department operating procedures and productivity standards. Responsible for the expedient and accurate Unloading, Picking, Packing, Replenishment, Consolidation, Put Away and Loading of merchandise, utilizing powered equipment and WMS System within the Distribution Center. Position is expected to be trained and have the ability to function in any department. Moves merchandise by hand, hand truck or powered equipment to maintain continuous flow of merchandise in conjunction with other material handling equipment such as conveyor belts, rails, etc. Regularly operates powered lift devices such as SP, PE, RC, TSP, etc. to move merchandise and materials around the distribution center. Provides quality undamaged product to customer. Promotes a team approach by cooperating with all staff at the distribution center to ensure customer orders are shipped within established time frames. Supports the QVC Difference in the performance of all job duties. Where You'll Work This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Suffolk, VA location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Receive pallets of product with pack slips.
  • Examines and inspects product, containers, and materials to ensure packing within established guidelines.
  • Work on automated packing lines performing a variety of responsibilities related to the operation of automated equipment.
  • Set up and operates machines to build mailers/boxes (label collation, case erector, tape, glue dispenser, pick and place, load invoices).
  • Prepare package for shipment, initials pack list, stamps pack slips, affixes labels, tickets or tags, insert program guides, etc.
  • Constructs the box, seals and applies label in proper position on package.
  • Removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks or staging locations.
  • Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment to safely stage and move product throughout the distribution center.
  • Assist other fulfillment personnel as needed to ensure prompt shipment or returns processing of customer orders within established department standards.
  • May operate a computer system and/or manual tracking of information to facilitate flow of merchandise.
  • Communicate daily production run schedule for line(s).
  • Support packing team by expediting collates, product, packaging supplies and other necessary materials, as well as, researching packer problems for rectifying counts for extra pack slips or product.
  • Promote a team approach by cooperating with all staff at the Distribution Center to ensure customer orders are packed and shipped within established timeframes.
  • Expediently Picks (Bin/Reserve) and Puts Away merchandise including Replenishment using powered equipment within the Distribution Center.
  • Initiate transactions through the RF system to ensure that the correct merchandise has been electronically updated.
  • Identify, separates, scans to pallet or bin, labels, palletizes, and wraps merchandise to maximize trailer or storage cube.
  • Complete inventory consolidations including the aged product Kill process.
  • Receive inbound freight using a hand held RF unit.
  • Assists in the put away.
  • Maintain the supply of empty pallets and moves pallets to staging area.
  • May support the RTV operations.
  • Operate and monitor the dynamic scan/scale operation.
  • Maintain and operate the sorter, reporting any irregularities to Facilities and the supervisor.
  • Identify issues with flow of product to trailers or gaylords and communicate with the Console Operator.
  • Monitor the inducts and inform manifesting personnel when truck reaches capacity.
  • Adheres to all company safety, security, and attendance procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
